Nice and early on a sunday morning I'm relaxing with my second coffee getting ready to do some more bug fixes. A continuation of the work I've been focusing on the week prior.
I want to really nail the bugs right now so I can work towards a stable release. I'm out of work at the moment so getting the game into a good situation before taking on a new job is important.
Let's talk about some of the bug's testers found and that have been fixed.
Fully fixed:
- Right clicking on a pane, will click the world and the character moved
- Hovering over an item shows the hover, clicking the item can also make the hover desc stick
- Right clicking an object in the world caused player to walk there
- More than one hover desc could show at a time clogging up the UI
- Dragging an item could also drag the pane sometimes
- Dragging an item onto a 1px border meant the item didn't drop into a slot
Next fixes:
- During combat sometimes AI is too close, or too far away from eachother
- When harvesting, gathering, animations aren't triggering/cancelling correctly
- When building, if you have multiple pawns it fails to build
And that's it for now! Many improvements to be made and tweaks to get the game feeling nice and solid. I'm looking forward to another release soon that everyone can play with!
